We had this sent to a friend's child (age 9) who is extremely intelligent. When we called to find out how he liked it, they said he had had fun putting it together and the clock part worked, but they could never get the voice to sound (which of course is the whole purpose of buying this particular kit). What a disappointment!

I bought this toy for my nephew, who enjoyed putting it together very much. He thought it was a lot of fun, although he couldn't get the clock to work.
