| Customer Reviews: my favorite gadget, use with Android! April 6, 2010 P. Lester (iowa) This watch is really amazing. I use it with my Droid (running OpenWatch software). I love text alerts. People at work probably think I'm really concerned about what time it is. Music control is the bomb, especially in the shower. And besides all that, it actually tells time! Time & date are synced with your phone. This futuristic piece of perfection is years ahead of its time. Worth every penny.
Outstanding piece of work March 25, 2010 D. Liang 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I didn't get it via Amazon.com. I had a working set. It works beautifully.
My phone is usually on silent mode. Often I cannot feel the vibration when it is in my pocket.
With this watch:
- I know when my phones rings, or receive a message.
- I know who calls me.
- I can pause and play music, skip songs forward and backward, control volumes.
- If I walk away from my phone, the watch alerts me.
This is awesome.
What are the Drawback?
- Battery drains on the phone is noticeable.
- You need to charge the watch. I do it weekly.
Defective watch from MobileCityOnline March 17, 2010 Dominique Balabat I was really excited with this bluetooth watch. I had this delivered from my friend from US. To my surprise, same as what people have experienced, the product IS DEFECTIVE. It would turn off as soon as you unplug it from the charger. I am now so disappointed and desperate to return this product. I just tested it after 3 months from buying it and help me pray I still could return it. Any suggestions will be so much appreciated. Thanks.
UPDATE: I had my watch replaced with Sony's help. It is still under warranty and they replaced it with a working one.
What a disappointment! December 30, 2009 action03 (MiddleOfNowhere, MD, USA) I ordered this watch from MobileCityOnline through Amazon.com. It arrived promptly, and I opened it to be greeted with a beautiful piece. This watch really is a work of art! The design, stainless steel material, crisp OLED screen, and chrome trim really set this chronograph apart. Whay do I give it a 1/5 stars you ask? Well after I plugged it in, after only a minute it indicated that it had a full charge. I knew something was wrong because the manual said it would take at least 2 hours to charge. When I unplugged it it promptly lost all power and shut off. As soon as I reconnect the charger, it works as advertised, but as soon as it is unplugged it shuts off. What is the point of a watch that won't keep a charge? I called MobileCityOnline and was promptly connected to a man who informed me I'm not the only person with the issue because apparently Sony Ericsson sent them a bad batch, and that they will return it no-questions-asked. He also said if they get a working batch he'd inform me. So I will have to return it and hope they will get some working ones, because if it did work it would have gotten 5/5 stars.

I bought once through Mobile City themselves. Got a defective watch, Called them up and arranged to return it because they said they had received an entire batch of bad watches. Ordered again through amazon unknowing that Mobile City was the seller. Once I find out I called them and they were about to send me yet another defective watch KNOWINGLY! I was able to stop the order but you think a company would at least get working ones first.
